Connect Google Workspace to Clakta through SAML so your team can sign in with their Google work account. You'll need to be a Google Workspace super admin and an owner of your Clakta team. SSO is available on the Enterprise plan.
Start in Clakta
- Go to Team settings → Security and click Configure under SAML single sign-on.
- Choose Google Workspace. Keep this dialog open: you'll copy the ACS URL and the Entity ID from it.
Create the app in Google Workspace
- In the Google Admin console, go to Apps → Web and mobile apps.
- Click Add app → Add custom SAML app, name it Clakta and click Continue.
- Under Option 1, click Download metadata to save the metadata file, then click Continue.
- Fill in the service provider details:
- ACS URL: the ACS URL from Clakta.
- Entity ID: the Entity ID from Clakta.
- Name ID format: EMAIL
- Name ID: Basic Information → Primary email
- Click Continue and add these attribute mappings:
| Google Directory attribute | App attribute |
|---|---|
| Primary email | |

| Last name | lastName |
- Click Finish.
Turn the app on
Open the app, click User access, choose ON for everyone (or only the organizational units that should use Clakta) and click Save. Google can take a few minutes to apply it.
Connect it to Clakta
Back in Clakta, upload the metadata file you downloaded in Metadata file (XML) and click Save.
Your team can now click Sign in with SSO on the Clakta login page, or open Clakta from the Google apps menu.
